On top my recent post translating the text of th13's announcement, due to the juicy details offered within, I have decided to spend some time analysing the tantalising images that ZUN has offered us in his blog post.

Note. though, that ZUN offered a disclaimer at the end of his post to discourage unrealistic expectations.

Less than an hour ago, ZUN announced over his twitter account that he would be participating in this year's Reitaisai8, the yearly largest touhou-only convention. Following the initial tweet that has already been retweeted close to seventy times, he released another tweet announcing the booth number and his lack of acquaintance with his booth partner.

ZUN has announced the latest addition to the Touhou Project games, Touhou Sangetsusei - Yousei Daisensou(Great Fairy Wars). The gameplay mechanics have yet to be precisely revealed.

In this game, Cirno starts the great fairy war against the 3 protagonists of the Touhou Sangetsusei series. Gameplay is centered on the ⑨Cirno who has the ability to freeze bullets(Wow, why didn't anyone think of that before!) from ...

Japanese 3D MMORPG  ai sp@ce has incorporated Touhou characters into it's shooting style play. Adding Touhou Character models has added the possibility of attracted the shooter-playing masses.

In a direct reference to the danmaku curtain fire dodging games, player's  characters "cosplay" as Hakurei Reimu, Kirisame Marisa or Kochiya Sanae and can use their "water gun" to shoot. However it looks to be more of a spread-laser fest than any actual bullet den...

Is a very, very devilishly evil and tough game. I mean that in a good, challenging way.

Imperishable Night Normal mode no-continues cleared! Kaguya's Last Spells made me pretty disorientated(suicided on one of them). I nearly cleared Final Spark! dang!
